Griot

Griot is an AI content-creation platform built from African culture, made for African creators who want to produce culturally grounded stories, posts, and media for a global audience. Its AI Studio generates content across formats — stories, poems, and social posts — in eight-plus African languages including Shona, Setswana, Swahili, Yoruba, Zulu, Hausa, Igbo, and Amharic, drawing on a Cultural Engine knowledge base spanning 54 African countries and 500-plus languages. A Creator Suite bundles integrated production tools for writing, design, recording, and editing, while Community features support collaboration between creators. Griot also addresses the business side of creating: a Creator Economy layer handles mobile-money payments via Orange Money, M-Pesa, and EcoCash, and Distribution tools publish to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X. The platform spans styles from Afrobeats to Amapiano and is positioned as content trained from African culture rather than retrofitted from other defaults.
